Exterior: The exterior leather is well-preserved with minor signs of use, including light creasing, hairline scratches and slight wear to corners which is consistent with age of the bag. The quilted pattern is intact and has maintained its structure, original sheen and colour.
Interior: The interior shows signs of wear such as scratches, scuffs and creases. There is a slight fading of the leather near the top flap. There is a noticeable scratch on the inner pocket leather near the fold. Despite these marks, the pockets are fully functional, with zippers operating smoothly. The Chanel and made in France log inside is well-preserved. There is a musty vintage scent, typical for a bag of this age. To refresh it, consider airing the bag out in a well-ventilated area or bringing it to a bag spa professional.
Hardware: The hardware on the bag shows signs of wear particularly the chain strap which shows loss of gold tone and tarnishing which is especially common in vintage bags. This can be easily restored at any gold plating services.
